One of the most interesting messages I ever delivered came through a
leaf. That’s right, a leaf! It happened last summer at an outdoor
public message service at Lily Dale, the Spiritualist community in
western New York. I had volunteered to give messages at Inspiration
Stump, which is in a small clearing surrounded by several acres of
virgin forest. About 250 people sat on wooden benches listening to the
medium before me and while I was waiting for my name to be called for
my turn, I glanced down. Suddenly I became slightly dizzy, as my gaze
focused on a green maple leaf lying by itself on the hard-packed dirt.
I couldn’t take my eyes off that leaf. What did it mean?
I get so disgusted and angry every time I hear about someone who
masquerades as a psychic and tries to hoodwink an unsuspecting person
out of money or, worse, their sense of power. In just the last week,
two different women called me up to voice their concerns about visiting
“psychics” who are nothing more than charlatans. Listening to their
stories, I got so angry, I wanted to drive down to the offices of those
ESP impostors, stand outside their doors and shout, “YOU SHOULD BE
ASHAMED OF YOURSELF!!!” I hope you never fall into a spider web cast
by a devious intuitive. And to make sure you don’t, let me tell you how
to spot a psychic scam artist.
Being able to deliver a message from spirit is one of the most joyous
things I do. It’s an act of love and sharing that connects me with the
spirit world, and to the recipient who is eager to hear from a departed
loved one or friend. That’s why I give messages at public events – I
enjoy being part of a wonderful flow of warmth that surrounds me, and
the person I’m speaking with. Who doesn’t want to get a message from a
loved one? Well, believe it or not, some people don’t want to be
contacted by spirit, and even get angry at a public message event when
a medium wants to speak with them. That happened to me last summer, and
I’m still astounded by the incident.
This website is dedicated to the life and work of my mentor, Reverend Sadie Nickerson.
It is hoped this website will easily explain some of my work and make the understanding of it more accessible to everyone.
