This book, which was channeled by Carolyn, is filled with intriguing information on a host of topics related to spiritualism, your soul and your life path. Guides and Angels
Everyone has a guide, at least one. Some have more, according to their spiritual journey. This is predetermined at birth, or prior to birth, when it is decided what type of life lesson will be learned. Guides come and go as if through a revolving door and it is not with sadness that they leave. It is more of a need to move elsewhere because the individual is no longer needing the services of that particular guide. Guides always have the best interests of the incarnate at heart. They are assigned to individuals for the betterment of themselves and those individuals. Guides who are unsuited, for whatever reason, to the individual to whom they are assigned, will not proceed. They will be asked to move and will be assigned different tasks. It is a high task to be assigned to an individual in that there is a trust that exists between the Creator and the guide based the guide’s full, true intention to help, to teach and perhaps even to learn themselves.
There is one who always stays with you lifetime after lifetime and is not really thought of necessarily as a guide. They are a small piece of God that resides within the soul and are what one would call Divine Essence. They are the trueness, the understanding, the purity of God and each one of them gives to you a small piece of that knowing. At around age seven you become aware of this aspect and this awareness is accompanied by a psychic phenomenon. This may be either psychic hearing, smelling or seeing, which is the most common form. Whether it be a vision of a past loved one who has gone over, or other spiritual experience, the message is the same, that this particular guide is present. Not all individuals become aware of these guides, but those who are on a spiritual path move ahead at around age seven, as the funnel to the other side, which has been open since early childhood, is veiled. These special guides are like the walking stick a blind person uses. The blind person is the child whose spirituality has been veiled so that they can experience their human lessons. The walking stick is the entity who will guide them and never lead them astray. ...
